Key Tariff Updates:
- Reciprocal Tariff Suspension Extended:
The temporary suspension of the additional 10% reciprocal tariff under Executive Order 14257 has been extended. These duties remain in effect until 12:01 a.m. EDT on August 1, 2025, for all countries except China. - China-Specific Exception:
Goods from the People’s Republic of China remain subject to separate tariff measures under Executive Order 14298. The 10% reciprocal tariff on Chinese goods will remain in place until August 12, 2025. - Timing Matters:
This extension applies to goods entered for consumption or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after August 1, 2025.

The President has issued official notices to multiple countries stating that, effective August 1, 2025, new reciprocal tariff rates may take effect unless bilateral agreements are reached beforehand. Countries notified so far include:

- Bosnia and Herzegovina (30%)
- Cambodia (36%)
- Indonesia (32%)
- Japan (25%)
- Kazakhstan (25%)
- Korea (25%)
- Laos (40%)
- Malaysia (25%)
- Myanmar (40%)
- South Africa (30%)
- Serbia (35%)
- Thailand (36%)
- Tunisia (25%)
